1 1/2	c	Butter or margarine --
		Butter is best
1	c	Sugar
1		Beaten
4	c	Enriched flour
2	ts	Vanilla
1	ts	Baking powder
		Egg

Thoroughly cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients, mix to smooth dough, and knead. Force through cookie press. Bake 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
